Successful Surgery of Mrs. Afroza Begum |

We are glad to announce that Widow-Foundation has raised the fund towards the treatment of Mrs. Afroza Begum, for her valve transplant which has successfully done last week by the expert consultants of National Heart Foundation of Bangladesh. She is in a good care in that hospital and will be discharged soon. Without the generous contribution of the donor of the foundation it would be a difficult job to treat her in time. Thanks all who contribute to fulfil our mission and to save her life/

Milosardie Works with Widow Foundation |

The Russian word "Miloserdie" means mercy, so our name reflects our mission. Our mission is to take efforts which make a better life for people with disabilities.
Milosardie is the non-profit organization in Sillamäe that focuses in assisting people with various disabilities that was started in Sillamäe Estonia and its neighborhood back in 1989. At the moment, there are about 500 persons on the membership list. Milosardie’s activities cover several important areas of disabled community: sports, recreation, rehabilitation, orthopedic services, practical skills training, sightseeing tours, charitable events and cultural exchange programs. Annual membership fees and sponsorship make up our budget, which is very low. Our office is located at Majakovski Str. 12 in Sillamäe, Estonia.
Recently Milosardie works with the famous NGO foundation in Bangladesh called Widow Foundation and also work in joint venture with WIDOW in pilot scheme exchanging expertise in different areas so it builds a strong working relation as well as reach our target to build up a rehabilitation center in Estonia to serve the people in both the regions.

In house Job Training |

After the successful starts of Basic Computer and English learning course, WIDOW has instigated its in house job training course for students and executives. The Evecutive Director gave his valuable speech about the course and the Director (Programme) has given a brief on organisational behaviour and communicative approach followed by Director European Union’s discourse on how to face the viva board effectively.
The main opening was started with the presence of students and executives from all kind of institutions, and the candidates those who were persuaded to go through the viva for key selection for the post of “Marketing Executive” and “Field Officer”.
The day was ended with the board’s decision to appoint 2 female candidates for the said post who will be going through the in house job training from 1st of March 2008 for 2 months probation to confirm their permanent joining. It’s also been decided unanimously to issue the appointment letter by end of the week to the successful candidates.

WidoW starts Basic English speaking course |

Foundation of English course is widow’s ongoing venture to build the elegant young generation to enable them to face the recent demand of foreign language proficiency. To start with widow starts its session 4 days a week with 10 students, executives and job seekers from different categories. Widow has smart and friendly teachers to teach English in its own friendly environment with all the necessary supports and materials. Beside widow will launch its basic IT training course for women and other working people soon…… |
